Tommy Boy

Tommy Boy
1995
Directed By: Peter Segal
Starring: Chris Farley & David Spade

Tommy (Farley) is the dimwitted son of an auto parts factory owner in Ohio. After seven years of college, Tommy returns home to find a position waiting for him in the family business. When his father dies he has to sell enough brake pads to keep the company from going under. He goes on this journey with his father's right-hand man Richard (Spade).

A great pair is something that can really give a comedy the boost it needs. When Farley and Spade join forces it creates something extraordinary that made this movie take off. Both of these men are quite different from one other and are able to provide the laughs we require.

Tommy Boy is definitely a movie that doesn't take a lot of brain power. This is something that you turn on when you want to turn off. You're more likely to find yourself laughing at a fat joke rather than a witty remark.
