John (Lemmon) and Max (Matthau) are next door neighbors that never stop arguing. They have been insulting one another for over 50 years. One day, Arial (Ann-Margaret) moves in just down the road. Both men want her for their own and are willing to do anything to win her over.

The funniest movies are often the ones that are so close to reality. Grumpy Old Men embodies every old man rivalry and makes for a great adventure to witness. Everyone can see a bit of their Grandfather in both of these characters. On top of this great plot, you have the excellent pairing of Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. These two are a tried and true pair that we have loved since The Odd Couple. When you take all these reasons and add in some good old gimmicks it makes this comedy a must see movie.
